The Triple Elimination format grants players three lives. Once they have lost three matches, they are no longer in the running.
This format is way too complicated to run on paper, and is a unique format devised by SKORA to give players at least three matches even if they lose all of them.
SKORA loosely matches winners with winners and losers with losers after each round, based on the in-tournament level-up tracker, which is unique to SKORA. All players start the event on level 1, and winners from the first round upgrade to level 2. When the winners play the winners, the winners again upgrade to level 3, while the winners from the losers upgrade to level 2, etc.
This way it is easier to match two players fairly and cause for a more competitive and spectacular matches.
This format works well for draws of 24 or more players where time is not too much of a factor, and you can choose whether to cut off regular play at quarterfinal or semifinal stages. The permutations are rather unpredictable though, which makes it slightly more difficult to anticipate an end time for the tournament.
